You probably noticed that things have been strangely quiet around here since late last week. On Saturday morning, as I was preparing the images for the this week’s postings, my 1 year old laptop hard disk decided that it was time to give up the ghost. I have next business day repair service but, being a Saturday, that meant I didn’t get the drive replaced and my backup restored until today. Thankfully, everything appears to be back to normal now although I have a couple of critical jobs needing done before Thursday so it’s going to be a busy couple of days.
Talking of Thursday, one of those critical jobs is to prepare a new version of my HDR presentation to give to the CapMac Advanced Photography SIG meeting. If you are in Austin and have a couple of hours free, join us at 6:30pm in the parish hall at Episcopal Church of the Resurrection on Justin Lane. You can find more details and a map here.
Today’s picture is another one from the archives and shows the dome of the rather magnificent Minnesota State Capitol building in downtown St. Paul.
