Austin’s Pennybacker Bridge seen on a foggy morning from the top of a bluff overlooking Lake Austin. When I headed out last Tuesday morning, I had hoped to get a shot very similar to this one that Evan Gearing posted yesterday but, unfortunately, the fog didn’t lift at all during the 45 minutes I could stay up on the bluff. My aim was to get something different from the usual sunset shot, though, so I suppose I succeeded even if the picture I came home with wasn’t what I had originally hoped to capture.
Nice composition Dave. I like how the bridge fades away.

That cedar tree has long been my favorite tree in Austin. I love how you’re captured its understated beauty.
