Apologies for missing a post yesterday. It’s Grand Prix weekend here in Austin and I’m extremely busy both at the race and downtown afterwards shooting events for TravelHost magazine. Hopefully you’ll forgive me!
I spent part of last night in the Austin Convention Center which has been converted into a nightclub for the weekend. The headliner was hip-hop artist Flo Rida who put on a great show and offered me an opportunity to play with the big boys in the photo pit. Here’s the first picture from my otherwise-unedited collection.
Out at the track, I had a fabulous, if tiring, day walking the perimeter looking for the best locations to shoot from today and tomorrow (no press access for me out there). I’ve taken way too many pictures and my hit rate will be very low so I’ll have to do a fair bit of editing before I post these. Look for something my the middle of the week.
