This historic log cabin, can be found inside Zilker Botanical Garden in Austin. It’s known as the Swedish Log Cabin and it has a fascinating history. Originally built by a Scotsman in 1838 (to a Swedish design), it was moved four times during its lifetime and covered quite some distance, heading into central Austin for a while in the mid-1800s, then out to Round Rock where it occupied two different sites before ending up back in Austin at its current location in 1965.
