Capitol Star

I’ve been shooting in the Texas State Capitol for a dozen years or more so it still surprises me that I can go down there and find a new shot even after all that time. Here’s a good example, though. During Monday’s visit with Jon and Chance, I realised that I had never shot the star in the centre of the extension rotunda with the fisheye. I wonder how I missed this before? I’ve been there hundreds of times but, for some reason I just didn’t see the potential in the scene or, more likely, was distracted by something else and didn’t spend any time thinking about it.

As an aside, sharp-eyed viewers will notice that this image actually contains 5 self-portraits 🙂
