Juan in a Million

Juan Gonzales is one of the founders of the Drink and Click movement which organises photographer gatherings in various cities around the world. Here is is during the April 3rd meeting at Fados Irish Pub in Austin. You can see some of his photography here.

This was a fun meeting because a Nikon rep was there handing out loaner equipment. I fell in love with the new Df which shoots pictures at 12800 ISO that look very like the 3200 ISO shots from my D700. Thanks to the lack of a battery grip and its low frame rate, though, it’s not really a replacement or upgrade so I’ll likely not be writing a check any time soon.
