George in the Texas State Capitol

I spent yesterday morning sitting out a pretty major thunderstorm inside the Texas State Capitol with Mike Criswell. For the first time in years, I actually shot photos for me (rather than as examples for HDR classes) and it was fun to try and find some new compositions that I had not shot before. Here’s one taken in the main rotunda using a fisheye lens.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 15mm
  • ISO: 64
  • Shutter speed: 2s
