Mike and I arrived at the Texas State Capitol nice and early a couple of Sundays ago and were able to photograph the rotunda before the arrival of the mid-day crowds. Here’s a shot from later in the morning by which time we had worked our way up to the fourth floor and the tours were started. If you visit the building, I would highly recommend joining one of the free guided tours – you’ll learn a great deal of interesting information on the Capitol’s history and architecture, and about the Texas legislature in general.
