Saturday was the date for our monthly 4-H club photography gathering and this month we joined the Austin photowalking group in the new Belterra Village development to shoot some architecture and generally geek out and socialise. I took the loaner Olympus OM-D E-M1 mk 2 along with its 12-100mm f/4 lens and snagged some pictures of signs, patterns and people.
This area is (or, at least, has been) pretty rural so a new development like Belterra Village comes with some great new amenities, notably a very good cinema and several restaurants. The Switch is a new barbecue joint which also includes cajun items on the menu so is likely to be somewhere we will return to pretty regularly.
