Sergio Perez, 2015 USGP Qualifying

Sergio Perez, driving for Sahara Force India, seen during qualification for the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas on October 25th, 2015. That was a pretty disastrous year for the race as a tropical storm decided to hit Austin that weekend and ended up washing everything out with 7 or so inches of rain. I have vivid memories of sitting in my shuttle (I was working at the track that weekend) behind the media center for most of Saturday, watching the rain pelt the windscreen. The rain finally cleared late on Sunday morning but qualification, which had been delayed from Saturday, ran in the wet.

For the technically inclined...

Nice shot, don’t know if I would want to drive one of those in the rain though
