Ken at the Pound House

I spent Saturday morning at Founders Park in Dripping Springs covering the Tails and Trails Fun Run with the kids from the 4-H Photography Group. After all the dogs finished the walk, we wandered over to the Dr. Pound Historical Farmstead and bumped into Ken Holmes, the docent there most Saturdays. Ken gave the kids the full tour and I was delighted that they all remained fully engaged for an hour as he expertly explained the lifestyle of a pioneer family from the late 1800s.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/1.2
  • Camera: E-M1MarkII
  • Focal length: 45mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/250s
