Covehead Harbour Light was one of the many small lighthouses we visited while on Prince Edward Island last month. After taking this picture, I turned to see a line of photographers on the beach gesticulating wildly. Unknown to me, the full moon had just risen behind the lighthouse and they were keen that I get down there to catch that, far more impressive, picture. Needless to say, I didn’t get a good moonrise image (but most of the others did).
