Ruins at Uxmal

The tourist-accessible area at Uxmal covers around 150 acres and includes two main pyramids, a large forum or town square, and a collection of other, low buildings. On climbing one of the pyramids, it’s obvious that the city spanned a lot farther, though, as additional ruins such as these can be seen poking through the trees.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: E-M1MarkII
  • Focal length: 100mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/125s
