Jetties at Blue Rocks, Nova Scotia

Our first shooting location on last year’s NxNW trip to Canada was the fishing community of Blue Rocks, Nova Scotia where we found an interesting collection of piers and jetties. There were also several fishing huts built on rocks away from the shore which seemed rather strange but, I suspect, helps lessen the chances of their contents being stolen!

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: E-M1MarkII
  • Focal length: 75mm
  • ISO: 320
  • Shutter speed: 1/180s
