Hammer Time!

Lewis Hamilton has a loyal fan base and you’ll often see them carrying inflatable hammers or carrying flags saying “Hammer Time!” This has become a bit of a catchphrase for the driver and it appears to have originated during the 2014 Austrian Grand Prix when his race engineer indicated that he should put the foot down by sending the message “OK Lewis, it’s hammer time” over the radio.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/3.3
