Bee on Flower

There’s certainly plenty of colour over in the flower field at Nutty Brown Farm this season. Here’s one of Kim’s blooms and a visiting bee. My ID skills have failed me again – can anyone tell me what species of native Texas bee this may be?

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: E-M1MarkII
  • Focal length: 150mm
  • ISO: 320
  • Shutter speed: 1/250s
