Drop Zone

Elijah Tuuk (back) and Colin Alexander (front) from Austin take two of the jumps in the Drop Zone obstacle at the FreeRide512 park in Rocky Hill Ranch near Smithville, Texas on Saturday, August 29th, 2020.

The free ride park contains a large collection of jumps and obstacles for mountain bikers of various experience levels. The Drop Zone area has several jumps ranging from 1 foot to 10 feet high and these guys were happily handling all of them. I, meanwhile, was exhausted by the ride up the hill from the car park to the free ride area and decided that stowing the bike and taking a few pictures was less likely to give me a heart attack.

For the technically inclined...
