West Texas

This picture pretty much sums up West Texas (or, at least, the flat, agricultural bits in the panhandle) to me. I took it somewhere between Abilene and Lubbock where, at this time of the year, the cotton is ready to harvest and the horizon is dotted with dozens of oil pumpjacks and hundreds of wind turbines.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/10
  • Camera: E-M1MarkII
  • Focal length: 100mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/250s
