Ferrari Overhead

Staying with the same March 2013 racing weekend as yesterday, here’s an image shot from one of my favorite locations at Circuit of the Americas – the top of the venue’s iconic tower. From there, 250 feet above turns 17, 18 and 19, you can get some really interesting and different angles on the action down below. In this picture, a Ferrari heads round turn 18 with those great red, white and blue stripes framing it rather nicely.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/6.7
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 160mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/2000s
