American Robin

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve been inundated by tens of thousands of American Robins (Turdus migratorius) feasting on the plentiful berries on the Central Texas cedar trees. Their Latin name seems pretty appropriate given their ability to turn said berries very quickly into fertilizer which they liberally sprinkle over everything beneath their migratory path.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/9.5
  • Camera: E-M1MarkII
  • Exposure bias: +5/10EV
  • Focal length: 560mm
  • ISO: 2000
  • Shutter speed: 1/500s
