Encrusted Cadillac

One of the half-buried and more-than-half dissolved vehicles in Amarillo’s famous Cadillac Ranch. The installation was set up back in 1974 with vehicles from years as far back as 1949. Since then, the cars have corroded to the point that I’m pretty sure most of their remaining structural integrity comes from the thick layers of spray paint that cover every square inch of their exposed surfaces.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/11
  • Camera: E-M1MarkII
  • Focal length: 7mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/200s
