Downtown Austin, Texas and Lady Bird Lake. The pedestrians on the Congress Avenue Bridge (the farther one in this image) and the boats on the diver are waiting for the emergence of a million Mexican Free Tail bats from beneath the bridge. Each evening during spring and summer, they all leave en masse at just around sunset and it’s a spectacular sight.
