Capitol Reef

Staying in Capitol Reef National Park, Utah, today, here’s another infra-red image taken from near the park headquarters and visitor centre.

Infra-red images are typically high contrast and dramatic so it’s a type of photography that works well in the harsh light of the middle of the day when most photographers tend to put their equipment away.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/5.6
  • Camera: E-M5MarkII
  • Exposure bias: -5/10EV
  • Focal length: 14mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/500s
