RIP, Your Majesty

I was saddened yesterday, along with tens of millions of others, to hear of the death of Queen Elizabeth II at the ripe old age of 96 years. After a reign of 70 years, few Britons can remember a time when she wasn’t the monarch and, regardless of your feelings about the monarchy in general, there’s no-one who would argue against the fact that she did a truly outstanding job as global ambassador for the UK and the 14 other countries she was head of state for. Thank you for a life of service. Rest in peace, ma’am.
