76 Trombones?

OK, so there are a few less than 76 trombones (and baritones and a couple of saxophones) in this particular image but I’m pretty sure that the Longhorn Alumni Band, which combined with the Longhorn Band for last Saturday’s half time show, probably marches at least 76 low brass players. Here we see a group of combined band members playing on the sidelines just after marching off the field following the Longhorns/Iowa State Cyclones half time show.

You can find all my images from this game at https://davewilson.smugmug.com/UT-Longhorn-Band/2022/Iowa-State-October-15th and the combined selects from all three photographers covering that band that day at https://www.jerryhayesphoto.com/p110127781.

For the technically inclined...
