Brickwork Grunge

A series of brickwork arches in the under-cover section of Fort Morgan, Alabama. I’m pretty sure the white streaks are chalky deposits that have leaked out of the mortar over the 180 or so years since the fort was built. They appear throughout the fort and have produced soda straws, stalactites and stalagmites in places.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/16
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 15mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1.5s
