HIAM 2024: Demolition Day (2)

An aerial view of work to demolish the Salazar’s old home on Ramirez Lane, Dripping Springs at the start of Hometown Missions 2024 “Home in a Month” project on April 13th, 2024. This was a bittersweet day for the Salazars, seeing their home of 40 years being torn down, and for the Hometown Missions board who had spent two years preparing for the start of the project.

Nora Salazar and her grandaughter watch as their old family home in Dripping Springs, Texas is demolished at the start of Hometown Missions 2024 “Home in a Month” project.
Lynn Osler and Patsy Ward, Hometown Missions board members, watch as the old Salazar family home in Dripping Springs, Texas is demolished at the start of the 2024 “Home in a Month” project.
