Edinburgh Castle I

We started our summer trip with a couple of days in Edinburgh so here’s the first of a short series featuring the city’s iconic castle. Castle Rock, the volcanic plug that rises over the centre of the modern city, has been inhabited since the Iron Age and a castle of some form has been there since the 11th century.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: OM-1
  • Focal length: 86mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/350s
