Rainey Street, March 2025

Time for some new pictures! After a couple of stormy days this week, the weather began to clear yesterday afternoon so I headed into downtown Austin in the hope of finding some good skies. The conditions didn’t disappoint and I managed to grab 80 or so new images to add to my collection of Austin skyline pictures. Here’s one of my favourites, taken right after the sun set, showing the current state of the Rainey Street development on the eastern edge of the downtown area.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: FC3411
  • Focal length: 8.38mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1/50s
