When I have an hour or so of weekend free time, I often delve into my Lightroom catalog and process some of the 20,000 or so images marked “review required”. These are typically imports that I didn’t have time to process immediately then completely forgot about. In this collection last weekend, I found 700 frames from the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas back in 2016. Apparently, I cherry picked some favourites for the magazine I was working for that weekend then promptly forgot to go through the rest!
The first image here will be recognizable to anyone who has visited my web site since one very like it greets you on the home page. This is Marc Marquez, then riding for Repsol Honda, on his way to the winner’s podium on April 10th, 2016.
