Capitol Door Knob

Regardless of how often I visit the Texas State Capitol, I can always find something new to shoot. There are so many interesting little details in the building – Texas text and stars hidden everywhere. Here’s one example that I shot on Saturday. This is a door knob seen on one of the doors at the back of the House of Representatives chamber.

The shot is pretty close to “straight out of the camera” aside from some minor tweaks in Lightroom. I chose it today since I’ve yet to find the time to process any of the HDRs I shot at the weekend and am still wading through 700 or so frames from the rodeo!

Changing the hardware on your doors is a great way to update the look. I will have to pick out a new handle for my door. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers!
