Musée d’Orsay is pretty definitely my favourite of the main Paris museums. We visited twice during the trip and still only saw about half of the collection. One disappointing feature of the museum, though, is the photography ban. One our second visit, though, it became pretty apparent that no-one pays any attention to the “no cameras” signs – visitors were snapping pictures all over the building, often right in front of members of staff, and I never saw anyone being approached – so I snuck a few shots of the large clock over the entrance.
Great tips especially for beginner like myself. Thank you.
