Paris was shrouded in a layer of smog the week we were there. It was bad enough that the authorities made all public transport free for the last 3 days of our trip and even went as far as banning cars with particular subsets of number plates from entering the city.
While the haze meant that taking clear shots of many of the buildings and monuments wasn’t really possible, it did open up the possibility of some more artistic images like this one taken from the banks of the Seine around sunset.
Really never gets old. Nicely done.
