Austin Skyline from the Lady Bird Lake Boardwalk

This is really a morning shot but here’s a new view of the Austin skyline at dusk taken from the recently-completed boardwalk on the south shore of Lady Bird Lake just east of Congress Avenue. I spent a couple of evenings out there earlier this month meeting a bunch of photography friends including some students from my last HDR class at Precision Camera. I was delighted to notice later that some of them produced far better images than this one 🙂

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 42mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 4s
