Rocks at Otter Cliffs, Acadia National Park

This picture represents day 4 in my 5 Day Black and White challenge from James Howe. If you look into the distance, you will likely recognise this shot from my post of 3 days ago. Whereas the beach immediately in front of Otter Cliffs is made of many large, water-rounded boulders, the area slightly farther back comprises huge, angular granite blocks as can be seen in the foreground of this shot.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/11
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 50mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/90s
