The Quayside at Newcastle-upon-Tyne

I took this shot of the Newcastle quayside on a drizzly November evening at the end of a fun day’s shooting with Antonio Marques. This city in the north east of England has a terrific centre including these four iconic bridges – the new Millennium Bridge in the foreground, the large Tyne Bridge in the background and the smaller Swing Bridge and High Bridge between.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/19
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 105mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 30s
