Thunderbird Park, right in the heart of downtown Victoria, hosts a collection of large totem poles and the Kwakwaka’wakw big house where artists carve poles during the summer months. We weren’t fortunate enough to see anyone carving but the pole display was still rather impressive and definitely worth a visit.
