Nature Challenge – Day 2: Owl Butterfly

For the second of my 7 “Nature Challenge” images, here’s one of an Owl Butterfly (genus Caligo but there are many species and I’m not sure exactly which one this is) taken in the Cockerell Butterfly Center at the Houston Museum of Natural Science a couple of years ago.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/22
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 80mm
  • ISO: 800
  • Shutter speed: 1/60s
