Morning Reflections, Taggart Lake, Grand Tetons National Park

I’m finally finding some time to look at the pictures we’ve shot over the last couple of days here in Grand Tetons National Park. Being a fickle sort of guy, the first ones I looked at were from this morning’s amazing visit to Taggart Lake. The day started with a 3:30am alarm to allow us to get ready and drive to the park in time for a 4:30am hike up to the lake in the dark. The early morning was definitely worth it, though – the lake was glassy smooth, the light gorgeous and the views absolutely breathtaking.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/16
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 24mm
  • ISO: 64
  • Shutter speed: 1/6s
