Flying Fox

Fiji is home to three species of flying fox and we see many of them every day flying from an island about half a mile away to wherever they are feeding. Having only seen the small bats we have in Texas, I was quite taken aback by how huge these animals are!

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/5.6
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 300mm
  • ISO: 1600
  • Shutter speed: 1/750s
