Baby Alpacas

Spring has sprung and it’s baby time at Blue Gate Alpacas here in Austin. Drew and I spent some time visiting the new arrivals yesterday afternoon and, despite harsh light (we must got back later in the day!) got some cute pictures of the fluffy new additions to the flock.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/5.6
  • Camera: NIKON D500
  • Exposure bias: -2/6EV
  • Focal length: 200mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1/750s

They have new babies every year so time your next visit to coincide and I’m sure we could visit again. We may even try to find a time with better light! I’m looking forward to trying out the D500 out at Circuit of the Americas in a couple of weeks when MotoGP is back in town.
