It took me 22 years but I finally visited the bluff over Loop 360 at Pennybacker Bridge for a sunset shoot while Mike Criswell was in town a week ago. This is probably Austin’s most photographed scene after the Capitol rotunda so finding something new up there is pretty tricky. I shot the standard wide image (which wasn’t too great – the sky was blank and we had no real sunset colours to play with) but prefer this tightly cropped, telephoto version instead.
