I went off on a tangent partway through posting my recent rodeo pictures so let’s get back on track. Young Mr. Alba, here, did a great job of teaching me how to throw a rope before the ranch rodeo in Dripping Springs on July 22nd. He was there with the 4-H club which was organising games for kids including roping a plastic steer’s head. You would be surprised at how difficult swinging and throwing a loop of rope is (at least for this non-cowboy).
