Unhappy Cherub?
The older I get, the more I enjoy kids' Christmas pageants. As a kid, I couldn't understand why all the adults got all goo-goo eyed over a bunch of small people wrapped in recut curtains, sheets, towels, fake wings and sheep costumes but now that I have a kid in the right age range, I completely get it. There's something amazingly cute about watching costumed tinies stumbling their way through passages from Luke's Gospel.
