New York Public Library
I had heard about New York Public Library before this last trip but had never visited before. I was actually quite surprised to discover that it was right in the heart of midtown, with the main building forming the east side of Bryant Park, a little oasis that is a fascinating place to wander if you're a people-watcher.
We didn't have much time to stop and read that day but I did grab a few pictures, quietly, as we walked through the reading room.

I really like this shot, Dave! You sure present the grandeur of this place quite well!

One of my favorite spots in NYC. Its a great place to get stuff or, or do absolutely nothing at all.
