Carter Stanley, KU Quarterback

I found myself rather conflicted during last Saturday’s football game, what with being an official Longhorn Band follower but also having a son at the University of Kansas. I’ve posted plenty of UT photos over the last few years, though, so I don’t feel too guilty giving some display space to this photo of KU’s quarterback, Carter Stanley, handing off the ball to running back Pooka Williams Jr. during a play from the UT/KU game.

This was taken using the rather outstanding Olympus Zuiko 300mm f/4 lens (which acts like a 600mm on a full frame camera) in case you wonder how I got so close to the action.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/4
  • Camera: E-M1MarkII
  • Focal length: 300mm
  • ISO: 2500
  • Shutter speed: 1/750s
