Our cruise was supposed to board at about 11:30am but the port of Galveston was closed until 2pm due to fog so everything got pushed back. One pleasant side effect, however, was that we had 6 hours to spend looking around the city of Galveston. Here are a couple of the building facades on The Strand, the best known street in the historic district.
