Spring Konstant “Eagle”

As some of you may know, one of my other pastimes is mentoring our local high school’s robotics team. The annual 6 week build period has just ended and our first competition takes place this weekend on home ground at Dripping Springs High School. If you are in the area, drop in and see some exciting robot action!

To give you an idea of what to expect, here’s our 2019 robot, “Eagle”. This was designed, built, programmed and operated by FIRST Robotics Competition Team 6357 “The Spring Konstant” from Dripping Springs, Texas and is seen here during the FIRST in Texas District competition at Anderson High School on March 3rd, 2019.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: NIKON D500
  • Exposure bias: -2/6EV
  • Focal length: 78mm
  • ISO: 2200
  • Shutter speed: 1/180s
