Mt Hood from Trillium Lake

As promised last week, I’ll be posting new images found while scanning through my collection of unprocessed photos from previous trips this week. Expect 5 days of calming landscapes.

We get the ball rolling with an image from 2012, taken during the very first NxNW photo trip to Oregon. This image was taken on the last night of the trip when three of us who had flights the next morning visited Trillium Lake. The sky was clear but the views of Mount Hood as the sun set were still spectacular.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/11
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Exposure bias: -3EV
  • Focal length: 32mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/60s
