I stumbled upon another Bee Assassin bug (Apiomerus spissipes) during Saturday’s visit to Nutty Brown Farm. This one was sitting right on top of a very white flower in what struck me as a distinctly unstealthy way. Maybe it’s camouflaged in ultra-violet and difficult for bees to see?
